Four Months

Hello!

We had our trip to the doctor yesterday and Rae is now 13 lbs. 3 oz. We also got some shots so that means we had a bad day :( Just like with the two month shots I think her leg gets sore and this is how it goes: She seems fine she falls asleep and then she wakes up and she screams for like two hours especially if I pick her up/move her/change her diaper. After the screaming and if I just leave her alone in her chair she just whines quietly till she finally falls asleep and then she wakes up herself again and is my happy baby. We hate shot day. 

We also have some successes from the last month, if I work hard I can get her to laugh :) She is better at holding some toys and getting things to her mouth. She is interested in trying to grab food off of our plate and we just laugh and laugh. Jeremy says she gets cuter and cuter everyday. He also says she is a lot easier now than she use to be, but I say Jeremy is a lot better now than he use to be :) 

Does everybody with a baby get so many comments in the grocery store? Everybody wants to look at her and ask about her and hold their toddler up to see her. I think her cuteness is just overwhelming to the shoppers of HEB and Walmart. Who could blame them look at this face.

Happy 28!

Jeremy decided not to go to the x games for his birthday... instead he was at home wondering why I won't take my three month old to the movies! ooyyyyy :) Don't worry me and Rae showed him a pretty good time. He had said he wanted to skateboard for his birthday but he was too sore from wake boarding so we just went to Texas Roadhouse.  

I forgot about the problem we have had with the candles melting into the pie and I didn't buy the right candles. So I just put two in the pie and eight in the ice cream.... If you were sitting where Jeremy is you would see that's 28 ;)

Happy 28 years Jeremy! 

One Year in Texas

I realized today is exactly one year since we moved to Texas so thought I would say something. I love anniversaries =D    

I asked Jeremy what he had to say about his year in Texas: "It's been hot and fast. Hanging out with family. And this baby, you're a Texas baby! Are you a cowgirl? You need some cowgirl boots?"

Not gonna lie I do miss Utah! I love Utah. But it has been a very good year! House, graduation, baby all in a year that is pretty successful. So here is a picture of this time last year and today. Had to search my phone for this one. This is my I don't want a picture stance. Jeremy is in a red shirt on the porch. Liv was staying at our house at the time and she documents everything thank goodness. Actually the week before we left I had so much stuff in that house that wasn't mine. That is what happens when the semester ends and all your single friends have no where to live. Somehow we got it all empty and drove away.

I wanted to get a family selfie but Rae was sleeping (hence why I am able to post a blog) and when was the last time Jeremy posed for a selfie? A lot has changed in a year but not that much :)

OH MY GOODNESS. Jeremy is wearing the exact same thing in both pictures. That is hilarious.
