We went on a little trip this weekend to be tourists in San Antonio. So fun! Rae was an o-kay traveler. She had her moments haha

9 months

Getting a little behind here, not because I am less excited about Rae's months but because she is crazy. I could tell you about her but she will probably be different tomorrow. She changes so much. Her one constant is her love for cheese. I have to do my best not to give her cheese because it turns her into a monster that will only eat cheese. I think she is regressing in her eating because she only wants cheese and doesn't want to eat anything else. We had a rough couple of weeks with a few all nighters when Rae got sick but we are on the tail end of that and were doing better. She also loves books, we have probably read all our books at least 100 times now luckily only one of us is getting bored of them ;)

Anniversary

Last month was our three year anniversary and to celebrate we went on our FIRST baby-less date in 9 months. Rae stayed with my friend who has a baby her age she loves. We went to the cheese cake factory - sat in the same spot as last year, ordered the same thing as last year... adventurers. I'm always celebrating Rae's months on the blog, had to celebrate our years. I love this man. Happy three years to us!  

Snow White

We went to the ward Halloween party yesterday and Jeremy took Rae around to "trunk or treat" I wish I had a picture of that but it was getting dark! Here she is with Lincoln who was Totoro, I love these two!  

I am also going to report on eight months! Rae is pulling herself up to stand, she is clapping and we almost have "turning the page" down if I pick the page up a little for her. She got her first tooth. Solids are still somewhat of a battle most days. Jeremy use to always say Rae Darling and over time it changed to Rae Danaling,.. Rae Donavey,... then Rae Donagan. We call her Donagan all the time now. She still loves the swing, we go over and swing to keep us from going crazy :) 

The months are flying by now! 

7 Months

As predicted Rae is a sub-par model these days. The only place I can get a good picture is the bucket swing across the street! 

She is now crawling around and grabbing everything. She is getting better at eating her solids. She babbles some. She gets soo excited when her dad gets home from work. She gets bored very easily. I have to be much more creative with my entertaining. I have mastered the art of singing and dancing while peeling potatoes. I also know all the words to a lot more songs, which is a whole lot because I have always been pretty good at knowing the words. 

Rae has turned Jeremy into an amazing dad. 

(Although His modeling is a little sub-par as well if you ask me)

Discovered this camera

Yesterday I was trying to take a picture of Rae and her friend Lincoln who is older and can crawl and he kept crawling away and Rae was just posing so well and I realized she is prime picture taking age! She can sit up on her own but she can't crawl away... and she is getting close she gets up on her hands and knees and rocks forward and back so any day now this prime time could pass. So I discovered this camera mom and dad Ellis gave us, plus found a cord to get the pictures to the computer, and the pictures look pretty good! Then I got addicted to that camera sound when you take the picture...

6 Months

Here she is!

She is really good at sitting on her own now. We have started solids

 and this morning she decided its best to lick the mushy stuff off the spoon instead of opening her mouth. She has a little bit of stranger anxiety. Still loves swimming... Texas summer what else is there to love.

 She made her first friend!

Not a whole lot going on around here...

One more

I just can't get enough of this laugh.  Yes we are sitting next to a box of poop. We are not always in prime video taking spots. 

She was laughing like this for so long. It's my favorite thing.

5 months today!

Our biggest success this month was Rae moving into her own room (a success for mom, I don't think Rae noticed). Rae plays with toys now, loves being in the pool, scared of the vacuum, and half our naps have gone out the window.

This one really is funny every time Jeremy ducks behind the couch she looks for him over in the kitchen.

She changes everyday and I fall in love with her again everyday, it is unreal. 

Swimming

Rae's first trip to the swimming pool was a success. She liked the water and didn't even freak out when she got out like she does with the bath tub, must be the warm Texas weather. 

 Lorelei is so cute how she likes to be around Rae. I think they will be friends.

Four Months

Hello!

We had our trip to the doctor yesterday and Rae is now 13 lbs. 3 oz. We also got some shots so that means we had a bad day :( Just like with the two month shots I think her leg gets sore and this is how it goes: She seems fine she falls asleep and then she wakes up and she screams for like two hours especially if I pick her up/move her/change her diaper. After the screaming and if I just leave her alone in her chair she just whines quietly till she finally falls asleep and then she wakes up herself again and is my happy baby. We hate shot day. 

We also have some successes from the last month, if I work hard I can get her to laugh :) She is better at holding some toys and getting things to her mouth. She is interested in trying to grab food off of our plate and we just laugh and laugh. Jeremy says she gets cuter and cuter everyday. He also says she is a lot easier now than she use to be, but I say Jeremy is a lot better now than he use to be :) 

Does everybody with a baby get so many comments in the grocery store? Everybody wants to look at her and ask about her and hold their toddler up to see her. I think her cuteness is just overwhelming to the shoppers of HEB and Walmart. Who could blame them look at this face.  

Must be similar to Amy's shopping experience with the "curlanator":
