Rae's birthday party

It was a fun day with this girl!

Rae's birthday and my parents visit

The first day my parents were here we went to old town spring where Jeremy's favorite barbecue place is. We found the cutest toy store ever.

We went to the butterfly center in downtown Houston. It was super rainy that day so we didn't get to go to Herman park but the butterflies were fun.

Some people take cute pictures of a butterfly landing on their kid but not us. This is Hughy acting like the butterfly is attacking him. He is the cutest thing there is.

Rae helped me make pizza for her birthday dinner.

She took donuts to joy school on her birthday and I got her these letter donuts for after dinner so she had a very donut day.

We had a crazy day at the alligator part where we saw at LEAST 17 alligators. Probably more but after that we turned around and saw a lot of the same ones again. They were on or right next to the path. Rae was most excited to see the baby alligators at the nature center.

We had a lot of fun with my parents but I can think of about ten things we didn't have time to do its always sad when they have to go.

A fun fun February

February was a month of birthdays, friends, parties, family, and a whole lot of love for this family of mine. The first "birthday" was Hugh turning 18 months. This might not seem like a big deal but when your crazy toddler finally goes to nursery it is and he has been loving nursery.

Then it was my birthday with the big 27. I had a great birthday we went to a Mexican restaurant and got an ice cream cake.

Then we celebrated valentines day, Rae helped me make truffles during the day I forgot to add that picture. Me and Jeremy went to Texas Roadhouse where thanks to their call ahead system we had a two minute wait! We wandered around the mall because that has become our new tradition after we stopped being able to find photo booths.

A couple husband brags here. Jeremy has been helping more with dinner and he made Indian food that was super good.

Here he is making a flounder for Rae's birthday party (while watching the Olympics) I don't know how he can paint so good!

Rae went on an "around town" field trip with her Joy school group. We have a lot of fun with these guys.

February had picnics!

and decorations

and one more birthday for the big four year old that will be talked about in the next two posts. My parents came to visit and we had so much fun but they didn't stay long enough.
