Baby Boy

I never put an announcement on the blog! I can easily say I am over the moon excited about this baby. I do not have the words to express the excitement. Due date is August 3rd. We found out the baby is a boy and that makes Jeremy even more excited. 

The ultrasound that told us he was a boy also showed that there may be a problem with his kidneys. After a week or two of worrying about that I got in to see a specialist today and the specialist said that he saw no concerns with the baby. I am relieved but also annoyed that I stressed about nothing. That is what I do most of pregnancy but when a doctor tells you something is wrong they should be a little more sure! I did get some neat pictures of the baby today though. This is him at 22 weeks. Still so long to go and he looks like a little newborn already. It is pretty neat.  

Nine months is such a long wait and you never know what will happen! I am very grateful for the chance though. I know that as hard as having a baby is, it is not as hard as not having the baby.

Easter Time

On Saturday Rae got to hunt for eggs with her cousins and she loved it! 

Yes they are removing an egg from the gutter with a vacuum. 

 We put some "Its a boy" balloons inside some of the eggs, we're having a boy!

I love going to other peoples church because I don't have to teach any class and Rae loves nursery so I get two hours to listen to adults and it is great. 

This was the first time I let Rae graduate from her baby seat to sit at the little kids table. After two minutes she claimed she was done and I regretted that.

Sunday was also Grandpas (Carl's) 70th birthday so we had cake and ice cream and he opened a few presents.  

Easter this year was a much better success than last year when Rae was sick but I will add that today Rae is now sick with a cold :( I guess that's what happens when you skip naps to party with the cousins.
