Thanksgiving

Hooray Rae was not sick for Thanksgiving! Of course there was an hour of wandering around the neighborhood holding Rae while she cried due to a wasp sting, but we will take that over sick any day. I probably didn't even write anything about thanksgiving last year because it was that bad. Probably Raes sickest shes been. Oh the memories. On to this year! First up we have the carving of the turkey.

And some dancing.

Carl and Nancy have a massive amount of oranges growing in their back yard so Jeremy was juicing a lot of oranges.

With spectators of course.

On Friday we went to a park and hiked/walked... or whatever you call what you do with so may littles.

Somebody was very tired so for her the hike would be called a ride.

When we got back Jeremy helped his dad mount his new TV on the wall...

how many people does it take to mount a giant TV on the wall? In this case, four, and Brian is still scratching his head about it.

Ah, a big TV for a big family.

Thanksgiving was fun and now I am off to deck the halls.

Liv comes to Houston again!

I am back tracking a little. Before the anniversary happened an awesome four days happened! My best friend Liv came to visit. On our first day we went to a "Turkish festival" which was in downtown Houston. It was very crowded but fun. If you could ask Rae she would tell you about the kids section she visited where she spent a long time on this fish-

We then went to traders village where they were having a Native American day and we saw some dancing and ate some Indian tacos.

If you could ask Rae she would tell you about how she collected rocks and played in the tepees they had set up.

On Sunday I handed her my camera and put her to work. She took some cute pictures of us, one of which is going on my Christmas card so we won't post them now.

Selfie from Sunday-

On Monday we went to Katy to visit Lara. Lara was one of our freshman roommates at BYU so it was a lot of fun getting together again! (The three of us I mean, I see Lara all the time) We went on a run where I pushed this large jogging stroller of toddlers.

Little Jamison is in a single jogger. Lara is awesome and has two jogging strollers. Hey next time you see Jeremy tell him how awesome it would be if I had a jogging stroller. Kay thanks.

On Tuesday Lara came to us and it rained all day but in the evening Jeremy babysat for Lara and we had a girls night! We brought Jamison with us if you can see his car seat in that picture but I promise we were toddler free! It was awesome.

We went to this crepe place that I love. Picture of crepe-

On Wednesday I had to leave this girl at the airport but not without a trip to the skate park first. Liv and I use to play around at the skate parks when we lived in Utah but these days I just watch Jeremy play around till Rae is bored and we go to the playground.

It was so fun having Liv here! I miss her so much! Friends this good are hard to find, and even harder to find in the same state as you ;)

Four Years

Yesterday was our fourth anniversary! Saturday we went to the cheesecake factory (where we always go on our anniversary), got our chicken madiera (what we always get), and also our raspberry white chocolate cheese cake (also, always ;))

What we don't always have with us is this girl! We didn't have a babysitter (babysitter we used last year moved... we miss you Emma!!) She was actually well behaved though thanks to her being excited to color with markers and us ordering her her own pizza which she loved!

We took the cheesecake to go and ate it after she went to bed. I won't tell her if you won't. We also played this new game I got that we are loving but I will not post a picture just in case I decide to make it someone's Christmas present.

and here is us looking good. Happy four years to us!

Wedding Weekend

I didn't take a lot of pictures in Austin but these are a few from my phone. Jessica got married in Austin this past weekend and all of Jeremy's siblings and their families were there (He is one of 8).

Jeremy with his brother Carl

The day after the wedding we went to a state park and Rae was excited to hold the trail map.

Digging in the dirt with cousins

I stole this picture from Nancy of the grandparents with all their grand kids. It depicts us all together pretty well!

I will be uping my picture game here shortly I need to take more pictures I was doing really well for a while!

Halloween

I never got out the actual camera to take good pictures of Rae in her costume, I just got too busy! and on top of that we didn't even carve pumpkins so next Halloween I will have to try harder. We did go to the ward trunk or treat -

The next day we went to have Halloween with the cousins! Rae was Dorothy, Emmett the lion, Luke the scare crow, and Ben the tin man-

And here they are with the rest of the cousins! We had quite a group!

Rae was a pro at trick or treating she caught on very fast. It rained almost the whole time we were out. oh well!

stole this picture from Jessica :)

We didn't carve pumpkins but I did make this cute ghost family.

And I made these lanterns with the activity day girls. So I did make a jack o lantern!

Edited to add this better picture from when we were at home:
