The Garden: Part 2

Let me tell you, this is not going well. We have had such extreme minimal growth. Obviously our soil isn't good but this is actually funny.

Remember pepper number one? Here he is! He looks the same as last time, I have been growing these for MONTHS and they haven't died..... and they haven't changed.......
At this point I just think we will work on our dirt and better luck next year.

Since the garden became so anticlimactic Rae picked out these orange flowers and we planted them with some butterflies in this little box.

Now we are the under dogs and you just wait give us some time and we will have a magnificent come back next year...... or the next..... its a learning curve ;)

Easter in Friendswood

The Easter egg hunt with the cousins is always so fun and Rae loves playing with Lorelei and Dahlia. Rae has both me and Jeremy following her around with a camera. This is one very loved girl!!

I got to put together two Easter baskets this year, I love doing two of things for the holidays!

Video from Easter morning of Rae and her basket: Rae has the cutest voice, Hugh with his wrapper, Lorelei thinks that Rae is a little weird, I am pretty sure Ben thought Jeremy was taking a picture, and nobody ever said happy Easter back to Dan.

Lauren makes this bunny cake every year and I am pretty sure on any other day I would think this was the best cake ever but after the sugar of Easter this cake is always a little much to end the day with, but I love traditions!!

The almost good ones

Taking a good picture of Hugh - Easy.
Taking a good picture of Rae - Easy.
Taking a good picture of both of them together - Challenge accepted.
Now I didn't snap a picture when Rae abandoned the project and ran around the yard or when Hugh fell over or grabbed Rae's hair. But here are a few of the almost good ones...

Hugh looking so cute and Rae not looking

Hugh's eyes closed.

Rae's eyes closed

Hugh looking perfect and Rae almost

Hugh cute, Rae almost girl

Rae's face??

Hughs face??

Rae trying to steal all of Hughs eggs and Hughs concerned face

My favorite pictures are the ones that don't make it to the blog so I thought I would share them this time. In some of the pictures there looks like there is a butterfly by Hugh and I just wanted to clarify that that is a pretend butterfly. We are the kind of people who set up pretend butterflies.

And of course I rocked the challenge and see the previous post for the "perfect" ones

Almost Easter

I never get cute pictures on Easter because we are so busy so I dressed these cuties up and took their picture in the back yard.

Rae has been so excited about everything Easter. She loooves her Easter dress and her Easter basket. She always says mom is it Easter yet? I want to do Easter! and the other day I said nope not today and she said, "You're suppose to say almost!" I babysit some little girls a few times a week and I am going to do an Easter egg hunt in the backyard with them and make Easter egg rice krispie treats so we are going to have some Easter fun this week while we wait for Easter Sunday!

Hugh is 8 months old now! He has been army crawling all around the house. He got his fifth tooth. He finally will drink from a bottle and even opened his mouth for baby food this week but he is very picky. He is so good in the car and loves laughing and squealing back in forth with Rae when they are sitting in their car seats. He loves sitting in the shopping cart at the store too, shopping with these two is a good time these days. I soak that in real good as I remember Rae's disaster days in the grocery store.

Hugh enjoys a nice outfit and his Easter basket too ;)
