December

I am just not in the mood for blogging but wanted to document the last two months so I'm just throwing up caption-less pictures tonight.

Halloween

The weekend before Halloween we drove to Vidor to celebrate Laila and Avas birthday and have a Halloween carnival.

One of my favorite things about Hugh is he is okay hanging out with anybody and has yet to cry when somebody else wants to hold him.

Anyone who has talked to Rae knows that there is nobody in the world cooler than Lorelei and Dahlia (Her two older cousins who sometimes humor her following them around)

The kids had a pie eating contest and Rae appreciated the cool whip on her plate.

Rae was obsessed with playing bingo we ended up sitting at the table by ourselves eventually just calling out different things for her to cover.

They set up a "spooky walk in the woods" and the next day Rae was still asking me to explain what kind of leg the jack-o-lantern was eating. I dunno maybe we should stick to bingo.

Here we are moving back to our house where we carved pumpkins the day before Halloween. I told her to make that face like she was serious about her power tool.

Actual Halloween was soo sad. It poured rain. Rae was so excited for trick or treating and we ended up trying to go in the rain and it was coming down so hard I couldn't even hear what she was trying to tell me. Our entire shoes were just pushing through the puddles. We were both really disappointed but we did a lot of Halloween things in October so I need to get over that lose. She had a Halloween party with her Joy school group, and a Halloween carnival with the Music Makers group, and the carnival with the cousins, and the trunk or treat at the church! We were just talking so much about Halloween night that was coming. Some of the houses we did go to loaded her up with a lot of candy so she did get a lot but it was very.... wet. Oh yeah and I had Hughy strapped to me while trick or treating so he collected some candy too. Rae did think it was fun handing out candy back at the house to the kids that were mostly being driven house to house... what a day!

At least this was one of the first years that I didn't burn the pumpkin seeds!

I'm not sure why I am so crazy but I am already excited for Halloween next year!
