Easter

I wasn't going to post about Easter mostly because Easter morning... and lets be honest pretty much the whole day looked like this:

But then I saw Lauren's post and thought I might enjoy looking back at that sad face in a few years. When Rae is sick she has a hard time handling anything. Unfortunately every time we get together with family it is the unlucky time of her being sick! The day before Easter was the cousin Easter egg hunt and Rae was doing a little better that day, plus she found a Twizzler I let her have so that helped.

I was a little sad that General Conference was on Easter because then I couldn't dress her up for church. Next year ;)

Trip to Lowes

Jeremy: I'm going to Lowes.
Nicole: What are you getting?
Jeremy: I think I will just see what they have.
Nicole: ............ I think we will go with you.

Jeremy: I want to get this, this is so awesome, I can use this for so many things!
Nicole: Like what?
Jeremy: everything.
Nicole: Give me a specific example of what you would use that for in your life.
Jeremy: ...

Rae:
Here we go again.

Jeremy: I want this for my birthday. It can do all this different stuff.
Nicole: You already have a drill what would you use any of that other stuff for?
Jeremy:....

Rae:
oh sheesh.

I think you can see how our conversation continued on from there and eventually goldfish weren't enough for Rae.

Then nothing was enough for Rae.

So I let her push the cart.

But then she wanted to push strangers carts.

And then she wanted to explore the store and everything in it,
and take all the small objects that are surprisingly at such a low level out of the bins.
When you try to stop her she has a kicking screaming fit
and Jeremy didn't seem to get the message she was sending
so I handed Rae to Jeremy

...and then he came around.

Jeremy on the way out: This is my store. You and the baby are not allowed here.

leaving.

This girl wears us out so sometimes I try to just laugh and take pictures.

Painting with Owen

Take 2! Owen wasn't feeling very well the first time we painted so we tried again on a warm day we could do it outside.

I love this face.

What can I say, my daughters an artist.
