This boy started the trip off sleeping before we even got on the plane. We had an early flight!
The first day we got to Utah we had a picnic with our Rich cousins.
That day we got together with our Egan cousins and we played with water balloons
That night I went to see fireworks with My best friend Liv and Caitlin and Jacob.
We stayed with my aunt Kathy that weekend and then headed up to Brian Head where we stayed in a cabin and right when we got there Amy got my mom out of the house and we set up for her surprise birthday party! That was a lot of fun my mom gets over looked a lot and now Hughy has even stolen her birthday! So I am glad we were able to celerate early with her in Utah.
The next day Jeremy went with the adults to Zions National Park and I stayed at the cabin with mom and Kathy and watched the kids. The next day we all went to Bryce Canyon and hiked!
Yep Jeremy took Rae in her stroller all the way down that.
...and all the way around and back up.

Our time at the cabin included dance parties
ticket to ride
fruit loop necklaces
lots and lots of cake
bonding over games on the tablet while the adults play Love Letter
and extra silliness
We played volleyball one day and that was lots of fun and we ate Pizza at the highest altitude pizza place or something like that :)
We went to see the sunset and took turns sitting in the good seat.

I love these people so so much and we don't get together nearly enough. I am a believer in us all living closer one day. They are the very best ones out there. I am going to make another post with all the super cute pictures from Caitlin!
Looks like a fun trip! Jeremy is crazy pushing that stroller up and down those trails! The comment from the random stranger is funny! At least y'all didn't try to hike Angels Landing (I think it is in Zions) where several people have fallen to their deaths.
ReplyDeleteWe hiked angels landing when we lived in Utah in our kidless days, definitely wouldn't do that with kids!! I told Jeremy not to go down on that loop and that they should stay up with my sister who wasn't taking her little boy but he is pretty stubborn 😏 My brother and his wife carried their boys on their shoulders a lot of the way so we were a sight to see!
