Disney World

We survived our first trip to Disney World. We went with three of Jeremy's brothers, two sisters, and parents, and 11 nieces and nephews, we had quite the group!

But first we had to get there. The drive was actually better than I thought it was going to be. I had the car so full of toys so I was very prepared. I borrowed some toys from my friend so we had a lot of new things to play with.

Both kids hardly slept in the car at all, luckily the way home they slept more!

Our first day was magic kingdom and it was beyond crazy town. It was very chaotic trying to stay with the group and trying to find everyone and keep everyone happy. Rae was scared of a lot of the rides especially the Seven Dwarfs mine ride and the buzz light year ride. She loved driving the cars though!

Later in the day we separated from the group and Rae met Minnie mouse and some princesses and she loooved it. When we were waiting to see Minnie and Daisy duck an employee came up to Rae and said do you love Daisy duck?! Rae quickly shook her head no and pointed to Minnie Mouse. She knows where her loyalty is!

Meeting Belle was the most fun they have it set up super cute with a little show and it wasn't a long wait at all.

We waited longer to see Rupunzel or "long hair girl" because Rae was looking for her after we saw Belle and it was too cute!!

Tiana was with Rupunzel

Rae's face watching the fireworks at the end of the night!!

Day 2 we decided to break from the group and go to Animal Kingdom. Jeremy was soo excited to go to the Avatar rides that we had to go. CAN YOU BELIEVE I DIDN'T TAKE JEREMYS PICTURE THERE. I think I was too busy trying to do a million other things but I wish I could've. I also didn't get a family picture. So much going on. Jessica came with us and we had fun!

There's a bugs life show in the big tree and I think that a lot of kids were scared of it but I can't confirm that because I couldn't hear any other kids over the screaming of Rae and Hugh.

Lots of rain this day, but Rae loved her poncho and playing in the rain. She ended the day walking barefoot through the parking lot singing songs. We left around six, so she still had her energy. Hugh did not like the rain as much and it made him a little extra sad there at the end. Rae loved the Safari ride and was being sooooo cute. It was my favorite part of animal kingdom, I took a couple short video clips.

Day three was epcot!

The frozen ride was soo cool, I loved it and Rae loved it and after of course we met Elsa and Anna!

Rae threw a big tired fit over not being allowed to hold a credit card and then when she finally stopped I gave her a lollipop and she fell asleep almost instantly.

Poor Elayna stuck under a sleeping Lorelei. Elayna is probably sleeping with her eyes open here, we were all so tired by this point. I was talking to Kyla and I said something about how I loved the little country exhibits in epcot and she said me too I like Epcot, magic kingdom was stressin me out!!
So I wasn't the only one! ;)

Of course Philip will find a tiny box in the leaves to charge his phone.

We ate dinner in Morocco! Rae missed it she was asleep, but this was a really nice break for me.

We ended the night of epcot with both kids screaming and crying because of the fireworks. Rae is using my nursing cover because she said she was cold.... so our weather was actually so good!! I thought it would be way hotter than it was.

The firework show (aside the cries) was super good!

Disney world was the most tiring vacation I have ever been on. Hugh was waking up at night, Rae was peeing her pants (four times), and there was so much crying. Luckily now that we are home Hugh is back to sleeping all night and Rae is potty trained again. We definitely had some fun memories and I am pretty sure all the hard part was worth it ;)

  1. I agree! This was definitely the most tiring vacation I have ever been on! I am still recovering. I haven't even downloaded my photos onto my computer! But this was also the MOST FUN we've ever had on vacation! Love seeing all your photos and remembering all the fun. We for sure want to take our kids to Universal when Ben and Lorelei are a little older. In five years, Ben will be almost 9! So that's what we are shooting for. Maybe by then, we will have enough saved up for another Disney trip. Haha!
p.s. Love the photo of Philip and the tiny box! Lol!
